Abstract. This article analyzes the development trends of agriculture in the regions of Uzbekistan. The study evaluates the growth dynamics of agriculture, forestry and fisheries, their share in gross domestic product, their role in employment, and structural changes by categories of farms. The results show that during 2016–2025 the agricultural sector maintained stable growth, although its share in GDP decreased due to the faster development of industry and services. The study also identified significant regional disparities in agricultural development. Agro-industrial clusters are considered an important factor of institutional transformation in the sector, and their positive impact on investment activity, innovation, and production efficiency is substantiated.
