Abstract: This article provides a comprehensive overview of the mechanism for ensuring the financial security of local budgets in Uzbekistan. Also, the scientific and theoretical works of scientists on such concepts as local self-government and financial security of the budget are widely covered. In addition, the interrelation of the financial stability and financial security of the budget and the mechanisms for ensuring financial security are developed. In addition, conclusions and proposals are made on the mechanism for ensuring the financial security of the local budget.
