Abstract: This article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of improving energy efficiency in industrial sectors based on the principles of the “green” economy. The study examines the theoretical foundations of the concepts of “green” economy and energy conservation, their mutual theoretical-methodological relationship, the main current problems of improving energy efficiency in the industrial sector, as well as the experience of foreign countries (the European Union, the United Kingdom, China, Indonesia).
