Abstract: This article examines the multiplier effect of tourism revenues on regional economic development. It focuses on the mechanisms through which tourist expenditures generate additional economic activity across a wide range of sectors, including accommodation, food services, transportation, retail, agriculture, handicrafts, and other related services. The study emphasizes that the economic contribution of tourism extends beyond the direct revenues of tourism enterprises, as visitor spending creates additional demand, stimulates local production, supports entrepreneurial activity, and contributes to employment generation. Particular attention is paid to the factors influencing the tourism multiplier, including the level of local production, the quality of regional infrastructure, consumption patterns, and the proportion of tourism-related expenditures retained within the region. The analysis demonstrates that strengthening local supply chains and increasing the participation of small businesses in the tourism value chain can significantly enhance the economic benefits generated by tourism. The article proposes several measures aimed at improving the efficiency of regional tourism development and increasing its contribution to sustainable socio-economic growth.

Keywords: tourism, regional economy, tourism revenues, multiplier effect, regional development, tourist expenditure, employment, entrepreneurship, service sector, tourism infrastructure.
