Abstract This article examines new trends in Uzbekistan’s industrialization within the context of institutional reforms and economic transformations. Specifically, the impact of special industrial zones and technoparks on production efficiency is analyzed. Using the electrical engineering industry as a case study, the sector’s export potential and investment attractiveness are evaluated. Furthermore, the article presents scientific conclusions on resolving institutional problems in raw material supply and personnel training, alongside strategic prospects for regional industrial development.
