Abstract. The article provides a comparative analysis of foreign and domestic experience in the functioning of the green economy market in the context of ensuring economic security. Various models of green sector development are being studied: European, American, Chinese, and adaptive strategies of developing countries. The experience of post-Soviet states in implementing the principles of sustainable development is analyzed. Key success factors were identified: political commitment, financial mechanisms, technological innovations, and international cooperation. The research is based on the analysis of data from international organizations, statistical reports, and scientific publications. Recommendations for adapting best international practices to national conditions, taking into account the specifics of economic development, resource base, and institutional characteristics, have been proposed.
