Abstract: This article analyzes the current state and development trends of individual lending in Uzbekistan. The study examines the theoretical foundations of retail lending and reviews the scientific views of foreign and domestic scholars on this issue. In addition, the structure of loans granted to individuals, the impact of digital banking services on the lending process, and the dynamics of selected retail loan products are assessed. The findings indicate a declining trend in the volume of auto loans in recent years, while the introduction of digital technologies has contributed to improving the efficiency of retail lending. Based on the research results, practical recommendations are proposed to enhance individual lending, diversify retail credit products, expand digital lending services, and improve the financial literacy of the population.
