Abstract. This article examines the relationship between economic growth and unemployment in Uzbekistan based on correlation analysis. The study uses annual data for the period 2010–2025 provided by the Statistics Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The relationship between economic growth rates and the unemployment rate was evaluated using the Pearson correlation coefficient. The results of the analysis indicate a negative relationship between economic growth and unemployment. The findings show that an acceleration in economic growth is associated with an improvement in labor market conditions.
