Abstract: This article extensively discusses the role of information security in ensuring the economic security of industrial enterprises. In addition, a comprehensive approach to solving the problem of ensuring the economic security of an enterprise, taking into account organizational and technical measures in the field of information technology, has been developed. In world practice, the security of a modern industrial enterprise is ensured by solving a number of complex tasks, namely: firstly, it is necessary to develop an economic security strategy aimed at protecting the interests of the enterprise and make specific decisions; secondly, it is important to identify criminal elements, dishonest competitors and other sources of threats in a timely manner, including incompetence in management, economic crises and social tensions; thirdly, the need for a systematic assessment of qualitative and quantitative indicators of financial stability, as well as risks and threats in the information space is scientifically justified.
