Abstract: This article scientifically analyzes the economic importance of banking system development and international financial integration. The study examines the reforms implemented in the banking system of Uzbekistan, the introduction of digital technologies, the development of electronic banking services, and the processes of integration into international financial markets. In addition, existing problems in commercial banks, credit risks, cybersecurity issues, and their economic consequences are analyzed. The article substantiates that international financial integration is an important factor in increasing the competitiveness of the banking system, strengthening investment activity, and improving the quality of financial services. According to the research results, modernization of the banking system, wide implementation of innovative technologies, and operation based on international standards are identified as important directions for ensuring economic stability.
