Abstract. This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the current state of investment activity of commercial banks. The study evaluates the volume, structure, and directions of bank investments, as well as their role in financing the real sector of the economy. In addition, the main financial, macroeconomic, and institutional factors influencing the investment activity of commercial banks are identified, and existing problems and constraints are revealed. Based on the research findings, scientific and practical conclusions and recommendations are developed to further enhance the investment activity of commercial banks and improve its efficiency.
