Abstract: This article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of forming investment policy in commercial banks, its role within the overall framework of banking operations, and its impact on economic efficiency. In the course of the study, particular emphasis is placed on the management of investment risks, ensuring adequate liquidity, increasing asset profitability, and diversifying the investment portfolio. Furthermore, drawing on international banking practices, the paper substantiates key directions for improving investment policy, including the adoption of innovative financial instruments and the implementation of digital technologies aimed at enhancing the efficiency of investment activities. The findings of the study are of practical significance for ensuring the sustainable development of commercial banks, optimizing the use of financial resources, and expanding investment flows into the national economy.
