Abstract:

This scientific article provides a comprehensive analysis of the mechanism of operation of remote banking services in the system of commercial banks of Uzbekistan, their institutional and technological foundations, and the role of the national banking system in the process of digital transformation. The main focus is on the internal working algorithm of remote services (internet banking, mobile banking, QR code payments, online lending, automated payment systems, etc.) provided through modern information and communication technologies, fintech solutions, and digital platforms, and on assessing their economic efficiency. The article discusses the regulatory and legal framework for the introduction of remote services in Uzbek commercial banks, infrastructure preparation, cybersecurity issues, and measures aimed at increasing customer confidence based on scientific analysis. Also, a method for modeling the mechanism of remote services based on the conceptual approach developed by the author is proposed. Empirical analyses conducted during the research were conducted on the example of the activities of leading commercial banks in Uzbekistan, and the results were evaluated through indicators such as the level of use of remote services, customer activity, and reduction of operating costs for the bank. By comparing with international experience, shortcomings, opportunities, and promising directions in national practice were identified. The results of this scientific article will serve to further improve digital banking services, form a user-oriented banking business model based on innovative solutions, and increase competitiveness in the country’s banking sector. At the same time, the article serves as a scientific and practical guide for banking specialists, economists, politicians, and researchers in the field.
