Abstract. This article examines the fundamental, technical and sentimental analyses that individual and institutional investors pay attention to when investing in the securities of corporations listed on the world stock market and joint-stock companies that have fulfilled the listing requirements of the local stock market, and the areas of increasing the profitability of the securities invested in as a result of these analyses. The study focuses on factors such as financial management, innovation, dividend policy and investor relations of corporate structures in the Uzbek and American stock markets. These areas are relevant conclusions and recommendations are made on increasing the market value of existing shares in the portfolio of shareholders of joint-stock companies and diversifying their portfolios by investing in the securities of corporations that are considered to be fundamentally strong.
