Аbstract.This article studies the essence, features and views and approaches of various foreign and domestic scholars and researchers in the study of the practices of public offering of stocks in the development of the capital market. The stages of organizing the practice of public offering of stocks and the work to be done in these stages has been discussed. The research methods used in the study are given. It also provides a annual analysis of IPO practices in the U.S. market as a developed capital market, and a global cross-sectoral analysis of IPO practices based on data from Ernst and Young. Scientific conclusions and recommendations are given on the practices of public offering of stocks in the development of the capital market and their specifications.
