Abstract. Today, the use of the mechanism of public-private partnership in every sector of the economy is considered as an important direction of development. Therefore, public-private partnership is an important means of ensuring the socio-economic development of the country, and is an important source of attracting financial resources to investment projects implemented in cooperation with the state authorities and investors. Based on the relevance of this issue, the article examines the experience of foreign countries in the organization of public-private partnership relations, and explores the possibilities of using these best practices in Uzbekistan. According to the law, a public-private partnership is a partnership between a public partner and a private partner based on pooling their resources for the implementation of a legally formalized public-private partnership project for a certain period of time. The state plays an important role in the field of improving legislation for the effective implementation of PPP programs, in the creation of special institutions for the support of public-private partnerships, and in the development of financial support mechanisms.
