Abstract:<\/em><\/strong> This article provides a comprehensive scientific analysis of the historical formation, theoretical development, and evolutionary transformation of the concepts of small business and private entrepreneurship within the context of the modern economy. The study comparatively examines the perspectives of classical, neoclassical, institutional, and innovation economic theories, highlighting how the concept of entrepreneurship has evolved across different stages of economic development. Furthermore, the research substantiates the impact of the digital economy, innovation activities, institutional reforms, and globalization processes on the development of small business and private entrepreneurship. The study employs historical, systemic, comparative, scientific abstraction, induction, and deduction methods. The findings demonstrate that the concepts of small business and private entrepreneurship are functionally interconnected yet distinct economic categories. In addition, the research provides scientific evidence of the strategic role of entrepreneurship in contemporary economic development, particularly in fostering innovation, creating employment opportunities, enhancing economic competitiveness, and ensuring sustainable economic growth. The results of the study serve as a theoretical and methodological foundation for improving public policies aimed at supporting small business and private entrepreneurship, strengthening the institutional environment, and promoting innovative entrepreneurship through the development of practical and evidence-based recommendations.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
