The article examines theoretical and methodological approaches to the classification of threats and risks, as well as the distinction between <\/em><strong><em>these<\/em><\/strong><em> concepts. Based on a literature review, key groups of risks and their impact on banking activities are identified. Using systematic and classification approaches, a structured model of threats is developed.
