The dynamics of foreign direct investment in developed and developing countries in 2020-2022 has been analyzed and trends related to it have been identified. The volume of foreign direct investment in Central Asian countries in 2016-2022 has been studied and the reasons for the inflow of foreign direct investment have been determined, their positive impact on the economy has been substantiated. The foreign experience of increasing the attractiveness of the investment climate of the regions, the conditions created for foreign investors, various financial<\/em> <em>incentives are presented.
