Abstract:<\/em><\/strong> One of the most important components of the digital economy system is cloud services that provide network access to computing resources: networks, storage systems, services, applications. with minimal effort, being a remote representation of a virtual model of a computing resource.\u00a0<\/em>The article discusses the use of digital technologies in improving the efficiency of public administration on the example of Uzbekistan.\u00a0<\/em>Improving the quality and efficiency of public services, the practical implementation of public control mechanisms, strengthening the role of civil society institutions and the media is unthinkable without the use of modern methods of information technology and cloud computing. <\/em>The impetus for the spread of cloud technologies in the public sector is such factors as the state’s strategy in the field of e-government, legislative initiatives in the field of personal data, the growing requirements for the efficiency of government agencies and an increase in the number of public services available to the population. Citizens will be able to get the necessary information or benefits faster, without collecting hundreds of paper certificates and certificates for this.\u00a0<\/em>It is expected that infrastructure services will continue to be transferred to the state “clouds”: mail, document management, videoconferencing. The use of “cloud” technologies will allow government organizations to reduce the costs and terms of introducing new IT systems by several times. The dynamics of development shown by the public sector in the “clouds” allows specialists to expect a big leap in this direction in the coming years.\u00a0<\/em>If a few years ago the public sector lagged significantly behind commercial companies in terms of the use of “cloud” technologies, today we can say with confidence that the “clouds” have become one of the most important and invested IT areas in the public sector.\u00a0<\/em>It is still too early to talk about a fairly wide distribution of public “clouds” in the public sector, which can already be observed in the commercial sector. The public sector is dominated by private and public clouds. This is due to the fact that most government departments have already created their own server capacities and communication channels.\u00a0<\/em>Summing up, we can say that “cloud” services are no longer the subject of numerous discussions and discussions, but a real tool that plays a significant role in the development of the IT infrastructure of state-owned companies.\u00a0<\/em>The article discusses work to further improve the provision of public services, where more than 308 types of services have been introduced that allow citizens and business entities to quickly and easily resolve their issues, answers to which are provided by more than 2433 state and economic management bodies and attention is paid to improving the quality and efficiency of public services, and the practical implementation of public control mechanisms, strengthening the role of civil society institutions and the media when using cloud services will have a great effect in the work of government agencies.<\/em><\/p>\n
